The Agerran Commonwealth
Representatives from all three major governing powers have come with the new colonists, in order to help establish the beginnings of a colonial government. You are here as part of the Agerran Commonwealth faction. It is vital that Phaelos III join the Commonwealth, for a number of reasons. For one thing, having the first colony since the Homeworld War willingly join the Commonwealth cements its legitimacy as the dominant power in the galaxy. Just as importantly--but more secretly--the Agerran High Command believes that the ruins on Agerre are home to a number of powerful relics, which might prove useful in the coming war.
Most of you are high enough in Agerran politics to know that Agerre is indeed stockpiling ships for a new war, as is rumored in much of the galaxy. The fleet is waiting, and if things go wrong on Phaelos III, they are ready to jump in and take the planet by force if need be. But as politicians and negotiators, you're determined to take control of the planet through less violent means. This doesn't need to devolve into bloodshed. Joining the Commonwealth is the best option for the new colony, and you'll be the ones to convince the other colonists of that. You know the Galactic League reps are going to be trying to sell their bland society to the new colonists, and you're happy to prove them wrong and argue them down until they give up and go running home like they always do.
When it comes to day-to-day politics, most of you are primarily concerned with infrastructure and defense. Your faction is working to establish things like basic transportation, energy, farming, resource distribution, and water purification systems. Structures and hierarchies are important to you. The safety of the colony is also very important. You have little tolerance for crime, and are determined not to let organized crime take root in the colony. Of course, the safest thing for the colony to do is to join the Commonwealth. Hopefully they'll understand that soon.

Description:
Fate granted you great powers, and you have never shied away from the exercise of those powers. Growing up as a child of Agerre, you understood that nothing is to be wasted, no resource left unused. You were a soldier during the war, first an ordinary member of the infantry, fighting alongside other soldiers like Y. En-fi ((Ivan Wong)) and E. Taiv ((Ross Cheung)). You befriended V. Gorai ((Tara Leederman)), an ex-Navigator recovering after being cut off from their copilots, and convinced Gorai to get back in the field and join the infantry.
You were noticed by Admiral Therra ((Matt Cook)) for your Innate talents, which you used on the battlefield. Therra recruited you to a secret team of Innate commandos. For a year, you operated behind the scenes, using your powers in ever more complex ways, pushing the limits of Innate powers far beyond anything you had thought possible. By working with other Innates, you could do things like overload warp engines from remote, push starships and missiles off course, and even unleash psychic shockwaves that disabled enemy soldiers.
Eventually Therra unveiled his full plan, introducing you all to an Ancient artifact he had found deep within Stormgate Temple. The artifact was a series of twelve hoods, with circuitry that reminded you of the Navigator architecture you had seen on Gorai. The hoods connected to a central focusing device, and amplifier. You and the eleven other strongest Innates--including Z. Kheiro ((Ben Morrow))--were chosen to use the device.
On Therra’s orders, you did. Your minds linked, you reached down into the surface of the planet Gyr. The goal was to cause instability and trigger a volcanic eruption, destroying a mining facility. It was to be a show of power, to establish to the galaxy that Agerre was the dominant force in the galaxy, and never to be questioned again. You could feel as the planet’s crust twisted, the dynamic instability rippling outwards from where you and your fellow Innates had pushed. The basalt flood spread, and Gyr boiled.
You are not proud of what you did. An uncountable number of people died. But the truth is, you do not see how it could have gone any other way. The war had to end. People were dying anyway, and this way at least their deaths were brief. The Agerran Commonwealth brings with it peace and stability through order and control. That is worth fighting for, and even worth killing for. If the war had continued, it would have destabilized everything, and eventually Agerre would have been destroyed in turn.
After the war, the team of Innates was divided. Admiral Therra was arrested and imprisoned for daring to question his own actions. Z. Kheiro left Agerre, and you never saw him again. Some died of neural damage they incurred from the artifact overloading their brains. Another pair killed themselves. Not you, though. You had to stay moving, stay busy, stay focused. You became a Seeker, helping the military in peacetime track down dissenters and those would not obey orders. You brought them back to your old compatriot Taiv, who became an Adjudicator.
You developed a longtime fascination with Ancient technology. You never fully understood what the weapon did, or how it worked, but you’ve always wanted to. The way it amplified your powers, and allowed you to connect to other minds… it was terrifying and exhilarating. You’ve always wanted to experience that again, but you have no idea what became of the weapon after Therra was arrested. But somewhere in the galaxy there must be more like it. You just have to find them, and discover what they are. You’ve spent time on Zé in the Temples, but your work as a Seeker keeps you moving too much to get serious research done.
You have come to Phaelos III as part of the military force, working under Gorai, now a Forward Marshall. The two of you have stayed close over the years, even as your careers have diverged. Out of respect to Therra and your other Innates, you never told Gorai what you did at Gyr, but it is not a secret you keep for yourself. You expect to continue working as a Seeker here, tracking down criminals for Taiv to sentence. You take your role seriously, and will do what it takes to maintain the stability and order of this new colony.
Light: You’re both pragmatic and powerful, given a gift that you’re willing to use and don’t feel the need to hide. You work hard to maintain order and stability.
Dark: You’re a tool of war, used at the whim of forces above you, and you feel no remorse nor questioning of their judgement. Your duty to Agerre means you do as you’re told, carry out the orders you’re given - and, more than that… you like using your abilities. You like knowing you have control over the world (and people) around you.
